The student will carry out an architectural project independently but under the supervision of a jury. Graduation Project subject and schedule are announced in the first week of the semester. The process is carried out by a jury formed among faculty members. Depending on the number of students, one or more juries may be established. A faculty member is appointed as the Graduation Project Coordinator to ensure coordination between the juries. A total of four jury sessions are held during the semester, including a project meeting, two interim juries and a final jury. Apart from these jury sessions, it is necessary and obligatory for students to continue their work independently without assistance and guidance.

This course provides a way to capture both the technical bases and the deep theoretical foundations of conservation in a comprehensive way. In addition to classical ideas such as Cesare Brandi, John Ruskin and Viollet-le-Duc, Jorge Otero-Pailos' advanced experimental conservation approach will also find a place in the class. In light of Otero-Pailos' views that relate conservation to cultural memory and artistic intervention, it will be discussed how conservation interacts not only with physical structures but also with social and ideological contexts. Modern challenges such as climate change, technological changes, disasters and sustainability will be addressed theoretically and the aesthetic, ethical and cultural dimensions of the conservation will be conveyed.

The final third (weeks 10–14) integrates foundation issues, non‑structural components, retrofit techniques and performance‑based design tools. The semester is organized around four stages that will combine various concepts such as NURBS modelling, data-handling and manipulation, form-finding and digital fabrication. To facilitate this outcome, the students will investigate diverse methods and experimental procedures that will involve arithmetic, geometry, design rules, materials, fabrication.
