İstinye University celebrated March 8th International Women’s Day through different events.
In the book exhibition prepared special to International Women’s Day by İstinye Library, the book selections of female poets, authors, academicians, scientists and artists were opened to visitors of İstinye University.
In the seminar “Traveler Exploring the World on Foot” organized by ISU Nature and Camping Club, Dicle Doğan told about her adventurous explorations alone around the world on foot in 2200 days in the context of Women’s Day.
In the seminar “Women’s Shelter on International Women’s Day” organized by ISU Social Work Club, Dr. Gülcan Urhan, an academician in Social Work Department of İstinye University Faculty of Health Sciences and ex-manager of Women’s Shelter, gave a speech on the importance and functions of women’s shelters.
