The list of the world's most influential scientists, prepared annually by scientists from Elsevier and Stanford University, has been published by Elsevier. As of September 1, 2022, criteria such as the number of qualified publications, the effect of the journal in which the publications are included, the number of citations, the h-index, the number of articles, the number of cited articles and the effect of the journal in which they were published were used in the creation of the list.
In the list of the most influential scientists in the world, Erfan Babaee Tirkolaee, PhD from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences from Istinye University, Associate Professor Armağan Fatih Karamanlı from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Associate Professor Ali Zarrabi from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Professor Doctor Özer Bekaroğlu from the Faculty of Pharmacy took their places.
