A student mobility agreement has been signed between our University and Ali Sir Nevai University which is located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Şöhret Siracettinov the Rector of Ali Sir Nevai University indicated that they have visited Istanbul for the purpose of making a contribution to cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan by improving their relationship and for this reason they are willing to make cooperation between the two universities, put student mobility programme into practice and lead up for faculty members to give lectures mutually as well.

On behalf of our university, Rector Şöhret Siracettinov and his committe have been welcomed by our Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Erdal KARAÖZ and Asst. Prof. Feyzi ÇİMEN the Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature. Prof. Dr. Erdal KARAÖZ stated that, out of 208 universities in Turkey 52 of them are foundation universities, Istinye University is one of these foundation universities and has achieved a lot so far adding that our University is ready to accept the students coming from Ali Sir Nevai University to all departments of the Faculties of Medicine, Health Sciences, Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Engineering, Arts and Sciences, Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences. Additionally, he also mentioned that  there are more than 5.000 students  at our university, 320 of them are international students coming from 49 different countries, our aim is to reach higher numbers at this and within this context we would be glad to welcome Uzbek students.

Subsequent to signing cooperation protocol, the presents have been presented to visitor committe members by our Vice-Rector.
