We have had our place among global universities

The Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings aiming at the evaluation of universities’ contribution to sustainable development of societies have been announced. Istinye University has become the youngest university entering the list from Turkey.

 

Times Higher Education, one of the most esteemed International Higher Education Ranking Organizations in the world, performed The Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings by evaluating the data acquired at the end of 2017, using the 11 of 17 criteria within the scope of UN Sustainable Development Goals as a base.  The main objective of this ranking is to evaluate universities’ social effect. 

 

Gaining such a great accomplishment, Istinye University has had its place in the ranking along with the other renowned universities from Turkey like Boğaziçi, Koç and Sabancı. Istinye University is ahead of the universities from Japan, Finland and Canada, who pass for the leader countries with the best education system all around the world.

 

Istinye University is reinforcing its success as a university that keeps reaching its future goals rapidly and mentioned among 300 global universities including many well-established universities around the world no matter how young it is. 

 

Istinye becomes prominent especially with its Criteria of Quality Education in the ranking. These criteria evaluate a university’s contributions to the society with its academic works. Getting the highest degree at this level, Istinye University is ranked as the 3rd among the universities from Turkey.
