Metro Istanbul Technical Trip by the Energy and Engineering Club
The “Metro Istanbul Technical Trip”, organized by the Energy and Engineering Club, was held off-campus on October 31, 2025, offering students the opportunity to observe rail system technologies on site.
As part of the event, students visited the control center, depot area, and maintenance–repair workshops, where they were able to examine metro line management processes, vehicle maintenance operations, and the technical infrastructure in detail. Additionally, during the visit to the R&D unit, experts provided information about Metro Istanbul's innovative projects, its adaptation to technological advancements, and its vision for sustainable transportation.
This technical trip offered an important learning experience by allowing students interested in engineering to closely explore sector dynamics, gain field experience, and observe professional workflows. The Energy and Engineering Club stated that it will continue to contribute to students' professional development through similar technical visits in the future.
