FEASS Holds Comprehensive YÖKAK Preparation Meeting!

The Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at Istinye University held a comprehensive preparation meeting as part of the upcoming YÖKAK (Higher Education Quality Council) evaluation process. The meeting brought together the faculty administration, department heads, and the entire academic staff to review key components of the quality assurance agenda.

During the session, participants evaluated a wide range of topics including community engagement activities, support mechanisms for disadvantaged students, social responsibility projects, updated appointment and promotion guidelines, the academic incentive system, and overall quality assurance processes. Faculty members also discussed potential questions that may arise during YÖKAK visits and reviewed the faculty’s strengths as well as areas for further improvement.

The meeting highlighted the collective commitment to strengthening the faculty’s quality culture and emphasized the importance of collaboration in advancing institutional development. Participants noted that the preparation process represents a significant step in enhancing the university’s quality standards.
