Assistant Professor Hakan Akın from our department participated in the 11th International Academic Studies Congress (ASC-2026), hosted by Çağ University on April 28-30, 2026, with two significant presentations. The studies, conducted in collaboration with Murat Mete (Kuleli Academy), focused on digitalization in health management and communication strategies targeting disadvantaged groups. The first study presented at the congress, titled "Health Communication Strategies Targeting Children As A Disadvantaged Group," evaluated the effectiveness of health messages directed at children by analyzing the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health's Instagram posts through a mixed-content analysis method.

The second presentation by our academics focused on digital addiction, one of today's most critical issues. The study titled "Digital Addiction In Institutional Social Media Posts" made a significant contribution to the literature by analyzing the discourse on digital addiction through the prism of youth and gender in institutional social media posts. Highlighting our department's academic productivity and scientific approach to social issues once again, these successful presentations were received with great interest by the participants. We congratulate our esteemed professor and his colleague for successfully representing our university on an international platform.
