“Back Health in Dentistry” Event Held at Vadi Main Campus
The “Back Health in Dentistry” event, jointly organized by Dentistinye and the Innovation Club, was held on January 13, 2025, at the Vadi Main Campus Sports Hall.
The event, which attracted significant interest from dental students and professionals, addressed the effects of long working hours and non-ergonomic positions on dentists' back health. Led by specialist physiotherapists and orthopedists, the event held in the gym involved participants performing exercises designed to protect back health.
Participants had the opportunity to actively experience the exercises and gain important information to prevent back problems they may encounter in their professional lives. The practical exercises and interactive environment throughout the event were highly appreciated by the participants.
Dentistinye and Innovation Club officials stated that such awareness events will continue to ensure that dental students can maintain a healthy professional life.
