A Theoretical Perspective on Second Language Acquisition in ELL205 – Introduction to Second Language Learning Course

As part of the ELL205 – Introduction to Second Language Learning course taught by Dr. Masoumeh Seyyedrezaei, a faculty member of the Department of English Language and Literature, a guest lecture session was held on Monday, December 22, between 12:00 and 13:00. In this context, Dr. Rahim Sarı, Head of the Department of Translation and Interpreting at Istinye University, participated in the course as a guest lecturer.

During the session held in AB405, Dr. Sarı delivered a presentation on key theoretical approaches to second language acquisition in close connection with the course content. The presentation contributed to students’ understanding of the subject by offering diverse academic perspectives.
