Prof. Asuman Yekta Özer

Prof.Dr.A.Yekta Özer graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Pharmacy at 1975 with the first honour degree and got all academic positions at the same University. She got her Ph.D. degree in 1981 in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology. Prof. Özer is the holder of more than 350 publications covering original research and review articles, books and book chapters and presentations on national and international basis. She has one patent and 12 national and international academic awards. She supervised 36 Ph.D. and Master Thesis. Additionally, she is the pioneer/founder of Radiopharmacy Department in 1993 at Hacettepe University in Turkey and the Association of Radiopharmacy in 2004. Currently, she is the chair of the Executive Committee of Assoc.Radiopharmacy. She is the head of the Radiopharmaceuticals Lisencing Committee at the Ministry of Health/Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency. She is the national delegate of the European Radiopharmacy Certificate Programme and the member of the several national and international societies. She is the scientific referees of many national and international journals. Her h-index is 24 and foreign language is English. Her studies were cited more than 1800 times. She retired from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Pharmacy in 2020 and started İstinye University, Faculty of Pharmacy afterwards.
