ASCO OSIG Istinye is a student group affiliated with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), based in the United States. Our club offers medical students interested in oncology and cancer research opportunities to network at both national and international levels, as well as to participate in scientific projects and events. The main objective of the club is to introduce and foster a love for fantasy culture among members who are not yet familiar with it, while also creating a welcoming environment where those already interested in the genre can socialize with like-minded individuals without feeling out of place. Our goal is to ensure that everyone enjoys being part of this community built around our shared interests.Our activities include role-playing games (FRP), board games, movie marathons, talks, social gatherings, digital games, and various workshops.

The aim of our club is to inform university students about emerging technologies, systems, and initiatives in the fields of information technology and finance, and to raise awareness in these areas.We plan to organize coordinated training sessions led by experts in topics such as decentralized finance (DeFi), blockchain technology, token utilization, risk management, technical analysis, leveraged trading, and the metaverse. Additionally, we follow national and international congresses and events to encourage student participation and ensure they benefit from these opportunities.

The Cinema Club is a meeting point for film-loving students who see cinema not only as an art form but also as a way of understanding ourselves and the world. As the Nature and Camping Club, we aim to reconnect with nature—especially in times when we need greenery and fresh air the most—through trips, hiking excursions, outdoor activities, and camping events. The Exlibris Club was established to introduce the art of exlibris to Istinye University students, contribute to its wider recognition, spark interest in books, art, and design, produce works through hands-on exlibris workshops, organize exlibris exhibitions, conduct museum and gallery visits, take part in congresses, panels, and talks related to exlibris, and enhance communication among those interested in this art form.The mission of the Exlibris Club is to contribute to making Istinye University a center of attraction for exlibris, to support the development of new exlibris artists and designers, and to promote the growth of exlibris collecting.

Zehra Tuna

The European Medical Students’ Association (EMSA) is a non-profit non-governmental organization representing more than 150,000 medical students across over 110 medical faculties in 30 countries through its Faculty Member Organizations (FMOs). Founded in Brussels in 1990, EMSA aims to serve as the voice of medical students within geographical Europe. The organization is officially recognized by the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Council of Europe, and the United Nations.EMSA provides medical students with the opportunity to express and advocate their views on medical issues, as well as to take an active role in projects, trainings, workshops, and international meetings. Its activities are generally carried out under the pillars of Medical Education, Medical Ethics and Human Rights, Health Policy, Public Health, Medical Science, and European Integration and Culture.EMSA Istinye is one of the 32+ EMSA member FMOs (Faculty Member Organizations), also referred to as Local Chapters, in Türkiye. In addition to implementing EMSA’s national and international initiatives at the local level, EMSA Istinye organizes events aligned with EMSA’s objectives under the leadership of its activity pillars. It was also established to strengthen communication among medical students within Istinye University.

The Energy and Engineering Club was established with the aim of fostering a culture of collaboration and productivity among students in the fields of energy and engineering within our university’s Faculty of Engineering. Under the umbrella of this club, we enhance our professional development by conducting laboratory studies and producing projects, while carrying out research and initiatives in the areas of energy and engineering that are vital to our country and the world.As the Energy and Engineering Club, we welcome all students who wish to develop themselves professionally and technically, and who are eager to participate in laboratory work and team-based projects, to join our club.

The aim of the club is to explore the art of photography—an essential part of nearly everyone’s life and a powerful means of self-expression—in greater depth and help it reach wider audiences. By bringing together everyone at our university who is interested in photography in shared spaces where they can both learn and socialize, the club seeks to build theoretical and practical knowledge for those who wish to improve their photography skills.These efforts are supported through trips and events where this knowledge can be applied, organizing activities that enable participants to view their surroundings from a broader and more perceptive perspective.

Genç Yeşilay is the leading youth branch of the Green Crescent of Türkiye, an organization that strives to protect society against addictions and raise public awareness. IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) is an organization founded in 1884 by prominent scientists of the era such as Alexander Graham Bell and Thomas Edison. IEEE is a non-profit, technical professional organization that contributes to enhancing, integrating, and sharing creativity in engineering, as well as advancing electrotechnology, information technologies, and sciences and specialties that benefit humanity.IEEE provides significant professional support to its members throughout their lifelong learning journey. It organizes national and international conferences, seminars, and professional meetings focused on career development and networking. Through volunteer activities, it also offers opportunities to develop leadership and other personal skills. Additionally, it provides its members with access to more than 300 continuing education and professional development programs.

The club aims to enable Istinye University students to communicate effectively with one another. It also seeks to further enhance a sense of responsibility by organizing social, cultural, artistic, and sports events, as well as social responsibility projects. In line with these goals, meetings are held to help members strengthen their communication skills.From time to time, various extreme sports activities and events such as paintball are also organized. As the Communication Club, we carry out ongoing social responsibility projects to fulfill our responsibilities toward society and our environment. One of our social responsibility initiatives, “Hand in Hand for Paws,” launched to support our animal friends, has received great interest and appreciation.

The Istinye Young TEMA Club is a student organization that aims to foster an environmentally friendly university culture and increase young people’s awareness of environmental issues. Striving to cultivate individuals who are sensitive to the problems of the environment we live in and who possess an ecological perspective, our club carries out activities in many areas such as sapling planting and acorn collection events, awareness campaigns, nature education programs, information stands, and promotional activities. It also takes an active role in various projects that contribute to the environment.Building its vision on a love for nature, sustainability, and volunteerism, the Istinye Young TEMA Club seeks to enhance environmental awareness within our university and encourage students to take an active role in creating a more livable world.

Asya Özdemir

Founded in 1952, this organization is an independent, non-political, and non-profit body recognized as the most well-established structure among medical students in Türkiye. It has local representations in 82 medical faculties across the country, and this number continues to grow. Together with its member faculties, the organization encompasses a network of over 30,000 medical students nationwide.At the international level, it represents Türkiye as a member of the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA). Within IFMSA, it is one of the 137 National Member Organizations across 127 countries. The organization operates entirely on a voluntary basis through initiatives carried out by medical students in Türkiye.Furthermore, the Union is officially recognized by the United Nations and the World Health Organization (WHO). It also collaborates with external stakeholders such as UNICEF, UNESCO, UNFPA, UNAIDS, EMSA, and AMEE.

The ISU Lösev Benefit Club was established to provide hope to children and their families battling leukemia and all types of cancer, to raise awareness, and to increase social sensitivity.Our club is founded on the values ​​of volunteerism, solidarity, and kindness. As Istinye University students, we aim to raise awareness about cancer not only within the university but also in society at large. As the İSÜ Teknofest Club, we aim to create technological awareness and support our university students in this field, in line with the vision of the National Technology Initiative. This is a student club that aims to provide knowledge in the field of defense industry and technologies, and to bring together students interested in this field to conduct collaborative studies.Founded under the guidance of Retired Brigadier General Prof. Dr. Fahri Erenel, our club aims to contribute to its members both academically and in the sector through technical trips, panels, conferences, competitions, and social events.

The Ombudsman Club was founded in 2022 by students of the Justice program at Istinye University Vocational School. The club's primary aim is to foster a culture of human rights and the rule of law among Istinye University students, to raise awareness of the Ombudsman Institution, and to familiarize them with its mechanisms for seeking redress. The club was established with the encouragement of the Ombudsman Institution, similar to many other universities with similar clubs.The club will conduct its activities in coordination with the Ombudsman Institution, a public institution operating under the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The club will follow detailed information found on the institution's official website (https://www.ombudsman.gov.tr/index), organize visits to the institution in Ankara, and also hold various conferences and events within the university with the participation of institution representatives.The club plans to organize and participate in panels, conferences, and various events in coordination with other universities, institutions, organizations, and relevant professional associations in Istanbul, with the aim of contributing to social development.It invites everyone who wishes to illuminate the path of public ombudsman and justice to come together within the club and contribute to this goal.

As the Istinye University Red Crescent Club, we aim to instill feelings of solidarity, mutual assistance, and compassion in our youth; to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and friendship regardless of differences in thought, religion, language, race, or gender; to help raise a healthy generation committed to Atatürk's principles and loving their country and nation; to recruit and train volunteer Red Crescent members; and to ensure the spread of Red Crescent principles among young people in our country and the world. We also aim to ensure the participation of young people in efforts to alleviate human suffering, to carry out youth activities with volunteer human resources, and to make them effective, efficient, and sustainable by expanding them nationwide.

The mathematics club aims to foster mathematical, philosophical, and logical thinking by focusing on theoretical mathematical topics as well as understanding the relationship between mathematics and nature. Model United Nations, also known as MUN, is an educational simulation in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. At an MUN conference, students work as the representative of a country, organization, or person, and must solve a problem with other delegates from around the world.

The club was established to bring together all students interested in or wanting to be involved with music, regardless of genre, and to create a fun, social environment around music. Members can take active roles within the club, participate in all events organized under the club's umbrella, work in the music room, improve their skills by attending instrument lessons, and present their performances in large-scale concerts to which the entire school is invited.

Netice Sude Alavanda

It was established to raise awareness of the millions of rare diseases in Turkey and around the world, and to introduce these diseases to students studying in fields directly related to rare diseases. The main goal is to introduce students in departments directly related to rare diseases, such as Medicine, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Nursing, or Psychology, to these diseases, which they may frequently encounter throughout their careers, especially in Turkey, and to ensure they maintain proper communication with patients and their families. It organizes informative seminars and conferences on rare diseases.

Our school has many clubs. But we couldn't find any that could develop our spiritual side, and as students of Istinye University, we thought that contributing to our school in this direction could take us a step further.Nefha means breath, a pleasant scent, a breeze. Students constantly going in and out of classes eventually feel suffocated, so we gave it this name with the idea of ​​making the school a place where we can actually breathe. We believe words have a great impact on the subconscious. Therefore, our main idea is to transform the perception of university in our friends' minds into a peaceful place. Amidst the rush, when we take a breath, the pleasant scent makes us smile and relaxes us.We observed that stories of conversion and transformation can broaden one's perspective, turning the feeling of "I can't do it" into "If others have succeeded, I can too." Therefore, as a club, we will be focusing on the lives of the Companions of the Prophet for 40 minutes every week. In one month, we will cover two stories of conversion (the lives of the Companions), followed by seminars where we will invite expert lecturers from outside the university to explain a particular aspect of their lives.Organizing activities on religious holidays. Distributing aşure (a traditional Turkish dessert) on Aşure Day and highlighting its significance. Organizing free iftars (breaking of the fast) during Ramadan. Distributing treats at the entrance of the mosque on religious holidays and decorating the mosque to reflect the meaning and importance of the day. Organizing camps. The purpose of organizing camps is to better bond together and to organize activities outside of school.Organizing a breakfast event after performing the morning prayer outside once every two months.

This club aims to bring together psychology students and those interested in the field, organizing seminars and conferences in collaboration with expert academics from all areas of psychology. The club's goals include introducing the science of psychology, its subfields and application areas, raising awareness about mental health and psychological disorders, contributing to reducing prejudice against seeking psychological support, facilitating the transfer of professional knowledge from mental health professionals to students, raising awareness of social issues, and contributing to their solutions.

This is the Robotics and Mechatronics Club of Istinye University. It's a project club aiming to produce projects in the fields of Robotics, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Autonomous Systems, Environmental and Urban Technologies, and Renewable Energy. Having already hosted three different Technofest teams, the club's vision is based on project development and production.
