Istinye University is an educational institution that is part of some of Turkey’s largest hospital groups. For this reason, being educated in the Health Management Department within this group has greatly facilitated taking my first steps in my career, with the valuable contributions of qualified academics in the field. The mentoring programs that contributed to my personal development, as well as the internship opportunities provided to prepare us for the field after graduation, have allowed me to experience the joy of working in my profession today. Being a graduate of Istinye University is a privilege, as they value their alumni and never leave us alone in our professional careers. 

One of the biggest factors that influenced my decision to choose the Health Management Department at Istinye University was the fact that the university has its own hospital and offers internship opportunities. With its strong academic staff, practical course content, and internship opportunities, I graduated well-equipped both theoretically and practically. The knowledge and experiences I gained during this process allowed me to make a quick and confident start in my professional life after graduation. Through the internship opportunities provided by Istinye University, I got to know the structure and didn’t face any difficulties in adapting to the workplace. The career support provided by Istinye University also played a major role in helping me achieve my goals. I would wholeheartedly recommend this department and university to anyone who wants to make a difference in the healthcare sector.

At first, I was a little hesitant about Istinye University because it was a new and young institution, but despite our first year coinciding with the pandemic, our department head and research assistant supported us greatly and were always solution-oriented. The reason I chose Health Management was because the department sparked my curiosity and appealed to many different fields. The 4 years passed by pleasantly and filled with experiences. Our needs and wishes were always listened to. Even after graduation, they didn't leave us behind and are doing everything they can to help us find jobs in the field.

My years in the Department of International Relations not only provided me with academic knowledge but also shaped my perspective on life. Understanding the world, interpreting cross-border issues, and building bridges between different cultures are among the most valuable skills I gained here. İstinye University was never just a place of lectures for me. It was a home where I learned to think, to question, and to take responsibility—an environment that guided my personal growth. Each of my professors offered me a different perspective; the critical thinking skills I developed alongside academic discipline are among the most precious gifts of my graduation. I extend my heartfelt thanks to my esteemed professors who guided me on this journey. Every piece of knowledge I acquired in the International Relations department will accompany me in every step I take. Studying International Relations at Istinye University was a valuable and meaningful experience in many ways. The courses I took, the knowledge I gained, and the guidance of my professors helped me grow and see the world from a broader perspective. Even after graduation, I continue to benefit from what I learned — both in my personal life and career. I sincerely thank all my professors and everyone who supported me on this journey.

During my undergraduate studies in the English International Relations program at Istinye University, I had the opportunity to gain in depth knowledge on topics such as Turkish and global politics, international security, foreign policy, and strategy thanks to the guidance of expert academics. Beyond just learning theory, the mentorship of my professors helped me develop critical thinking, multi-dimensional analysis, and the ability to understand global developments from a broad perspective. I also enriched this academic journey through the university’s social and cultural opportunities. Interning at the university’s Corporate Communications Department, joining field trips to international organizations, and taking part in research projects all helped strengthen my theoretical background and support my professional growth.Thanks to my academic performance, I earned the right to pursue a double major free of charge and am currently a third-year student in the Management Information Systems program at Istinye University. At the same time, I work as a Product Manager at an AI-based startup within Istinye University's Incubation Center. Being able to apply the analytical skills I gained from International Relations to tech-focused projects, and to work with an interdisciplinary mindset, has become a great source of motivation for me.
