In line with the “İstinyeli is an Athlete” principle outlined in our manifesto, the Directorate of Health, Culture and Sports at İstinye University aims to promote and strengthen a sports culture across our institution. To this end, we actively participate in local and national tournaments with more than 10 sports teams and individual athletes across various disciplines.

The multi-purpose outdoor sports areas located on our Vadi Main Campus, the indoor sports hall where our teams train, and our specially designed ISUGYM fitness center are available for student use.

İstinye University embraces the belief that sports are a way of life, offering students opportunities for physical, mental, and social development through a strong athletic infrastructure. Our teams—particularly in basketball, football, and volleyball—stand out with their discipline and strong sense of solidarity.

Each year, our sports teams welcome new talents through tryouts. These teams not only give students the pride of representing our university but also provide an important platform for those aiming to step into the world of professional sports.

Our basketball, football, and volleyball teams aim to achieve success in tournaments while fostering team spirit, leadership, sportsmanship, and a competitive athletic culture.

Additionally, our university has active teams in many other disciplines, including futsal, tennis, badminton, table tennis, boxing, kickboxing, muay thai, karate, wushu, chess, road cycling, cross-country, athletics, and triathlon.

All of our teams train regularly under the guidance of professional coaches and aim to represent our university successfully in local, national, and international competitions.

We also bring students together through ISUCup tournaments held within our university, featuring chess, volleyball, football, basketball, table tennis, and many other sports.
