Assistant Professor Selin Aktar Kiremitci

She completed her master's and doctorate studies at Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Botany. She conducted researches on the “Investigations About Morphology and Stability of Phenolic Compounds of Ulva lactuca” in her master's degree. At the same time, she took place as a researcher in the Product Development Department of ARGEFAR. During her doctorate, she conducted research on the “Investigations on Hypecoum L. Taxa Distributed in Western Anatolia with Regard to Pharmaceutical Botany and Bioactive Secondary Metabolites”. She also participated in the TÜBİTAK Project on “To be Used in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Lung Cancer Using Conjugation of Thymoquinon with Magnetic Nanoparticles Prototype Product Design” with the Institute of Nuclear Sciences. Later, she took part as a researcher in the Ministry of Forestry Project, "Comparison of Active Ingredient Component Amounts of Certain Hawthorn (Crataegus-Rosaceae) Species Growing in Turkey, Development and Analysis of Herbal Products”, together with the Aegean Forestry Research Institute. She has papers, publications, scientific consultancy, book editorship and refereeing in international and national congresses on bioactivity, chromatographic analysis, morphology, secondary metabolite. She speaks English.
