Workshop on Local Infrastructure and R&D Activities in Particle Accelerators and Detectors

Dear İstinye University Community,

This workshop will be held in a hybrid format, with both in-person participation and remote access via Zoom. The aim of the workshop is to provide an opportunity for information sharing and discussion regarding locally conducted R&D activities in particle accelerators and particle detectors, as well as existing infrastructure facilities and those currently under construction or proposed/planned for establishment.

Within this framework, the scope of the event is limited to accelerator- and detector-focused projects, activities, and facilities carried out locally and supported by national resources. Work conducted within experiments participated in through international collaborations is beyond the scope of this workshop.

In line with its purpose and scope, this workshop series is held annually at the end of November or beginning of December in memory of Prof. Dr. Engin Arık and his colleagues, who lost their lives in the Isparta plane crash on November 30, 2007.
