Dear Student,

If you need to travel abroad/return to your home country after completing your residence permit application, please consider the following based on the approval status of your residence permit:

  • If Your Residence Permit Is Approved:

    You can visit the Provincial Directorate of Migration and obtain an official document for leaving the country from the relevant unit.

  • If Your Residence Permit Is Not Yet Approved:

    You will be required to pay a fine for the residence permit violation at the airport and must comply with the visa requirements of the country you are returning from when re-entering Turkey.

You can check the status of your application by sending a photo of your passport to the following email address:
