A Field Visit to the Psychology Program Conducted by FEDEK

The Psychology Program of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Istinye University has taken a further step toward its quality-oriented education approach by applying for accreditation to the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Science, Arts, Science-Literature, and Language-History-Geography Programs (FEDEK). Within this scope, a field visit was conducted by FEDEK between February 8–10, 2026.

The field visit represents a significant stage in evaluating the program’s educational quality, curriculum structure, academic staff qualifications, and student-centered practices. While the preparation process highlights the program’s strengths, it also aims to raise awareness of areas that require improvement.

The Psychology Program aims to educate its students as well-equipped individuals both academically and professionally by providing an up-to-date education grounded in scientific and ethical values. The FEDEK accreditation process plays a critical role in the program’s development as a reflection of this vision.
