Istinye University KAP Preparation Activities Conducted!

Istinye University carried out comprehensive preparation activities across the university prior to the evaluation process to be conducted within the scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program (KAP) led by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK).

In this context, before the visit of the YÖKAK Evaluation Team to our university, informative meetings were organized across all campuses for academics and students from each institute, faculty, and vocational school. During these meetings, various topics were addressed, including the concept of quality, quality assurance in higher education, the role of YÖKAK, and the purpose and scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program. Through these meetings, it was aimed to inform stakeholders and raise their awareness prior to the evaluation process.

In addition, a separate briefing session was held for administrative staff as part of the preparation process. In these meetings, the role of administrative processes within the quality assurance system was explained.

Through these preparatory and informative activities conducted prior to the evaluation, Istinye University aims to ensure that the quality culture is embraced by all stakeholders and to sustainably support institutional development.
