Our university organized a training program to support the leadership and management skills of academic and administrative managers. The training titled “Quality, Lean Management and Leadership: The Cornerstones of Institutional Transformation,” held for academic and administrative unit managers, was successfully conducted on Friday, September 19, 2025.
Within the scope of the training, topics such as strengthening institutional culture and ensuring sustainable institutional transformation were addressed within a multidimensional framework, based on quality management systems, lean management principles, and effective leadership approaches. The training was not limited to theoretical knowledge transfer but was enriched with interactive methods that enabled active participation of the attendees.
Pre-test and post-test assessments conducted before and after the program provided concrete evidence of the participants’ improvement in knowledge levels and offered important data to evaluate the effectiveness of the training. The results indicated that the training content contributed to the managers’ understanding of institutional management and increased their level of awareness.
Throughout the training, the focus was placed on adopting a quality-oriented management approach across the institution, continuously improving processes, and understanding the impact of strategic leadership roles on institutional success. In this context, it was aimed to provide managers with a systematic perspective.
The university administration stated that similar training programs will continue to be planned in the coming periods in line with the goal of embedding a quality culture at the institutional level and ensuring sustainable development.
