Istinye University organized the “Societal Contribution Workshop” on Monday, October 13, 2025, in order to strengthen social responsibility awareness and expand sustainable impact areas. The event, attended by academic and administrative staff, student representatives, and external stakeholders, brought a new perspective to the university’s vision of contributing to society.
The program began with an opening speech and an informative presentation by Quality Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa SUNDU. Participants were then divided into mixed groups consisting of academic staff, administrative staff, students, and external stakeholders, and took part in group activities aimed at generating ideas and developing solution proposals in the field of societal contribution. Through brainstorming sessions, it was aimed to generate new ideas and develop collaborative projects for the future.
At the end of the workshop, each group presented their ideas and proposals in 10-minute presentations. The program concluded with an evaluation session and a general closing.
Throughout the event, many innovative ideas and project proposals emerged to strengthen the university’s societal contribution mission. Participants shared their views and suggestions to make societal contribution activities more effective and sustainable. Bringing together diverse perspectives, the workshop became an important step toward contributing to Istinye University’s efforts for the benefit of society and creating a new roadmap for the future.
The program concluded with the message from Head of the Societal Contribution Office, Asst. Prof. Dr. Seda KURT, “When we think together, we can create a stronger and more sustainable societal impact.”
