Cooperation protocols have been signed between our university and Boğaziçi University’s Center for Targeted Treatment Technologies and Center for Life Sciences and Technologies. Aimed at advancing joint research and innovative projects, the program included laboratory tours, an official signing ceremony, center introductions, and project planning meetings.
Our university has taken another major step toward strengthening its scientific research capacity and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations. The cooperation protocols between our university and Boğaziçi University’s Center for Targeted Treatment Technologies and Center for Life Sciences and Technologies were officially signed during a ceremony held on July 23, 2026.
The program began with a visit to Boğaziçi University's R&D floor and research laboratories. Following the on-site review of the research infrastructure, our Rector, Prof. Erkan İbiş, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Muharrem Usta, addressed attendees at the signing ceremony, highlighting the significance of the partnership for both institutions and sharing their best wishes.
A Strong Partnership for Joint Research and Innovative Projects
The event continued with an introductory presentation of the centers delivered by Prof. Rana Sanyal. Following the presentation, a core group project meeting was held to evaluate prospective research areas and joint working themes under the framework of the partnership.
Under the signed protocols, both institutions aim to conduct joint research in targeted therapy technologies and life sciences, develop innovative projects, and reinforce academic collaboration.
Through this cooperation, Istinye University continues to reinforce its research-oriented approach with new academic partnerships and contribute actively to scientific advancements in health and life sciences.
