Healthineering and Graduation Projects Poster Exhibition Held with Great Participation
Istinye University brought together students, academics, and industry representatives at the Healthineering 2 and Faculty of Engineering Graduation Projects Poster Exhibition. The event, which highlighted science and innovation, was successfully held under the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences and coordinated by the IEEE Istinye University Student Branch.

Participants included Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Hatice Gulen and Prof. Dr. Bestami Özkaya; Director of ISU Connectom Incubation Center Assoc. Prof. Dr. Okan Yaşar; Prof. Dr. Mehmet Alper Tunga; Dr. Şeyma Karakuş Bozkurt; Orhan Mutlu Topal; Burak Minaz; Ali Emre Pekmez; Kağan Dikmen; Ahmet Selim Coşar; Güneş Yavuz; Oğuz Can Işık; Ali Murat Arıkusu; and Ahmet Nizam.
Industry supporters such as Bilişim Vadisi, Siemens Healthineers, FİGES A.Ş., MATLAB@UCL, fonbulucu.com, Moltek, Beebird, and KIWI Technologies also enriched the event with their contributions.

Following the event, Dr. Fevzi Aytaç Durmaz of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences shared his thoughts:
“We thank the IEEE Student Branch, club president İrem Karagöz, and the coordination team for their efforts. With such events that strengthen academia–industry collaboration, we will continue to support our students in innovative thinking, production, and sharing.”
More Than 50 Projects Exhibited
Over 50 projects were showcased in poster and prototype formats, covering areas from health technologies and artificial intelligence to biomaterials and electronic systems. Prepared with an interdisciplinary perspective, the projects attracted great interest from the jury and visitors.
“Cardiac Vessel Segmentation” Wins First Place in Healthineering Competition
During the event, 9 teams presented their projects in the Healthineering Competition. The “Cardiac Vessel Segmentation” project received first prize. Thanks were extended to the IEEE Istinye team and all participating students for their contributions.
Double Award for i-Lab Team
The i-Lab team, participating with 8 different projects, won 2 awards following the jury evaluation. Their interdisciplinary work received praise for its focus on technology and innovation.
The Healthineering & Graduation Projects Poster Exhibition at Istinye University offered students the opportunity to present their creative projects and brought together academia, industry, and future engineers. The event successfully emphasized the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative thinking.
