The Excitement of the First Lecture at the Faculty of Medicine

The First Lecture Ceremony of our Faculty of Medicine was held with the participation of faculty members and students. During the ceremony, our graduates who achieved outstanding results in the TUS and USMLE examinations shared their experiences, while Prof. Dr. İskender Sayek delivered the inaugural lecture.

Graduates Who Excelled in the TUS and USMLE Share Their Experiences

Held on October 9, the First Lecture Ceremony began with opening remarks and a musical performance. As part of the program, TUS high achievers Dr. Furkan Atmar and Dr. Yunus Emre Kulekaya, along with USMLE high achiever Enes Gümüş, delivered their speeches and shared their experiences. Prof. Dr. Veysel Sabri Hançer, Head of the Department of Basic Medical Sciences, also addressed the audience.

Prof. Dr. İskender Sayek Delivers the Inaugural Lecture

One of the highlights of the program was the inaugural lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. İskender Sayek. Following his address, Prof. Dr. Sayek was presented with a plaque in recognition of his contribution.

Prof. Dr. Ferah Ece, who coined the name of the Turkish-language Medical Program, also delivered a speech at the ceremony. The program continued with an address by our Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Türker Kılıç.

Newly Appointed Faculty Members Don Their Academic Robes

In the final part of the ceremony, an academic robe ceremony was held for newly appointed faculty members of İstinye University Faculty of Medicine. The First Lecture Ceremony brought students and academics together at the beginning of the academic year and concluded with the newly appointed faculty members donning their academic robes.
