A Flurry of Awards at the Start-up Investment Summit

With the support of Başakşehir Municipality, our University once again demonstrated its strong position in the entrepreneurship ecosystem at the fifth Start-up Investment Summit organised by In4Startups this year. Represented by our Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Bestami Özkaya, our Director of Strategic R&D and Resource Development Dr. Muaz Mücahit Yıldırım, and our Director of the Technology Transfer Office Ömer Ertuğrul Meral, our university had the opportunity to share its entrepreneurship and innovation-focused work with a wide group of stakeholders at the summit.

During the programme, which attracted considerable interest, our university was awarded the Entrepreneur-Friendly University Award for its entrepreneurship-focused activities and the support mechanisms it offers. In addition, Ayşegül Gündüz (Loopyfr), one of our entrepreneurs from İstinye Garage, received the Promising Female Entrepreneur Award for her work in strengthening the presence and potential of women in the field of entrepreneurship.
