Representatives of Both Institutions Attended the Protocol Signing
The signing ceremony took place between İstinye University Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş and Okan Çınar representing Kıvılcım Association. The protocol, signed in mutual goodwill, is regarded as the first step toward a long-term collaboration.
“Small Sparks Will Lead to Great Transformations”
Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş emphasized the significance of this partnership for the university’s social vision, stating:
“With this cooperation, we will jointly implement projects focusing on equal opportunities in education, environmental awareness, and the culture of volunteerism. By combining Kıvılcım Association’s spirit of solidarity with İstinye University’s innovative academic approach, we are turning small sparks into great transformations.”
Contributing to Society Through the Power of Youth
The cooperation protocol aims to develop concrete projects in social responsibility, social awareness, and sustainable development with the active participation of students. Initiatives in education, environment, human rights, social entrepreneurship, and volunteerism will provide students with field experience and create lasting impact across different segments of society.
This strategic partnership merges the university’s academic expertise and students’ potential with Kıvılcım Association’s field experience and social sensitivity. Raising young leaders to pioneer change and expanding social impact to wider communities remain the core focuses of this collaboration.
