Prof. Dr. Taylan Yetkin from the Department of Basic Sciences has been appointed as CERN-Knowledge Transfer Forum Delegate of Türkiye

The CERN Knowledge Transfer Thematic Forum (CERN-KT Forum) provides delegates with detailed information about newly developed CERN technologies and CERN's knowledge transfer activities in general. CERN-KT Forum delegates have the mission of facilitating contact with CERN to implement knowledge transfer activities that align with the technological needs of their respective countries.

Following an open call by TENMAK, İstinye University nominated Prof. Dr. Taylan Yetkin from the  High Energy Particle Physics Research Group of the Department of Basic Sciences as CERN-KT Forum Delegate of Türkiye, and TENMAK appointed Professor Yetkin to this position effective February 2026.
