The DataMedX Hackathon 2, organized at our university, brought together high school students interested in technology, artificial intelligence, and healthcare with industry professionals and academics, fostering the development of innovative ideas.
Organized by our university, DataMedX Hackathon 2 took place at the ISU Vadi H Campus from May 15–17, 2026. Aimed at developing innovative solutions in the fields of technology, artificial intelligence, and healthcare, the event saw high school students from various cities across Turkey participate in an intensive three-day project development process.
An Intensive Three-Day Development Process
Sixteen finalist teams that passed the preliminary evaluation qualified to participate in the competition. The teams began working with the datasets and had the opportunity to develop their projects through mentor sessions, case studies, and jury evaluations.
Throughout the event, experts in their fields—including academics, industry professionals, and figures from the entrepreneurship ecosystem—provided guidance to the participants.
Innovative Projects Were Recognized
Following the final presentations, the jury announced the winning teams.
The first-place award was won by the CatBoost Baseline team. Ethosoft took second place, while the AHUT team won third place. The Innovation Award was presented to the İAFL_DataTeam.
