Within the scope of the “Twin Transformation and Sustainability Production Center in the Healthcare Sector” Project, company visits were carried out to analyze existing processes on-site with a focus on lean transformation, digital twin, and sustainability.

Within the scope of the “2053 Vision Workshop on International Student Recruitment in Türkiye”, organized by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Service Exporters’ Association on December 29, 2025, the workshop was held with the contributions of participating public institutions, universities, and sector stakeholders.

As part of the Organizational Behavior course, taught by Faculty Member Melek Yurdakul within the Department of Business Administration, a guest lecture titled “Organizational Change, Stress, Conflict & Negotiation” was held on December 17th.

Entrepreneur Ahmet Yasin Acar served as a guest speaker, addressing organizational change processes, workplace stress, conflict management, and negotiation. The presentation, supported by real-life examples, improved students' understanding of organizational dynamics.

The event titled “Career Paths Reshaped by Digitalization and Technology” was coordinated by the Association. Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Kelleci, a faculty member of the Department of Business Administration, was held on December 1, 2025. Students from the Departments of Business Administration and International Trade and Business participated in the event.

The first orientation meeting for the Professional Practice Course, offered within the Department of Business Administration, was held online on January 6, 2026, between 14:00 and 15:00. The meeting was conducted jointly by the course instructors, Prof.Dr.Fahri Erenel and Dr.Öğr.Üyesi Bahar Divrik.

Faculty members of the Department of Logistics Management at Istinye University’s Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences paid a visit to the International Transporters’ Association (UTİKAD), one of the leading non-governmental organizations in the sector.

An “Educational Cooperation” Protocol was signed between Istinye University, Torbalı Chamber of Commerce, and the Torbalı Industrialists and Businesspeople Association (TORSIAD).

The Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at Istinye University held a comprehensive preparation meeting as part of the upcoming YÖKAK (Higher Education Quality Council) evaluation process. The meeting brought together the faculty administration, department heads, and the entire academic staff to review key components of the quality assurance agenda.

Hosted by the Elazığ Municipality and attended by Deputy Mayor Nazif Bilginoğlu and Provincial Director of Culture Mehmet Karaaslan, the seminar featured presentations by Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Gürsoy, Head of the Department of Economics, and Assoc. Prof. Esra Bayhantopçu from Kadir Has University, titled “Women’s Handicrafts and Our Cultural Heritage.”
