Okan Yaşar completed his undergraduate education in 1993 in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Milli Savunma University, his master's degree in Management Engineering in 2000 at Istanbul Technical University and his doctorate in the field of Management and Organization at the Milli Savunma University in 2012. Yaşar, who gives certificates and trainings in Big Data Analytics and Systems Engineering, also gives undergraduate and graduate courses in many universities. He has been teaching at Istinye University since 2019.
