2020-2021 Spring Semester Double Major and Minor Applications

Dear Students,

Applications for 2020-2021 Spring Semester Double Major and Minor Programs will be made on the Student page (ois.istinye.edu.tr) between 3rd and 7th February 2021. (Only programs with quota can be applied. Programs without quotas will not be eligible on the application screen). Applications made by post or e-mail will not be accepted.

* In the event that students who apply for Double Major and receive the warning "You are not within the 20% success segment of the class" on the application screen meet the other application requirements; and if these students have the ÖSYS score type and base score for the relevant year of the program for which they are applying for the Double Major, we kindly ask these students to send an e-mail to cap.yandal@istinye.edu.tr in order to apply for Double Major.

Announcement of the Results : February 11, 2021

Registration of the Principal Students : February 12-15, 2021 (during working hours on weekdays between 10.00 and 17.00)

Registration of the Alternate Students: February 16, 2021

ISTEP Exam: February 11, 2021 at 11.00 (Students who are accepted to English programs will gain the right to register if they pass the ISTEP Exam.)

Candidates That Will Apply Must Meet the Following Conditions

Double Major

- Students can apply in the undergraduate degree program at the beginning of the third semester at the earliest, and at the beginning of the fifth semester for four-year programs at the latest. In addition, they can apply at the beginning of the seventh semester for five-year programs and at the beginning of the ninth semester for six-year programs. Students in the associate degree program can apply at the beginning of the second semester at the earliest and at the beginning of the third semester at the latest.

- Weighted GPA must be at least 3.00 / 4.00 (at least 3.15 / 4.00 for Pharmacy Program application)

- Having succeeded in all courses taken until the time of application,

- Being within the 20% success segment of the class (10% success segment of the class for pharmacy program application)

- Having the base score in the type of score for the relevant year of the program to which the application is made if the 20% success rate cannot be achieved,

- Having the success rate in the relevant score type in the applications for engineering programs, architecture program and pharmacy program

- Language proficiency must be provided for applications to English programs.

Minor

- Only students enrolled in the undergraduate program can apply at the beginning of the third semester at the earliest and at the beginning of the sixth semester at the latest.

- Weighted GPA must be at least 2.50/4.00.

- Having succeeded in all courses taken until the time of application.

- For applications to faculty of engineering programs, the relevant prerequisite courses ** must be taken and completed.
