COEUGREENTRADE (Center of Excellence for EU–Turkey Integration: Trade, Industry and Sustainability) is a Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence project funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme. Coordinated by Istinye University, the project aims to establish an interdisciplinary centre of excellence that examines the impact of the European Union’s trade, industrial, and sustainability policies on Türkiye through education, research, and stakeholder engagement activities.

The project focuses on trade and industrial policies shaped by the European Green Deal and seeks to support knowledge generation and policy dialogue regarding Türkiye’s green transition process, its capacity to adapt to EU regulations, and the future of EU–Türkiye economic integration.

Jean Monnet Centres of Excellence are prestigious structures that bring together education, research, and outreach activities within higher education institutions specializing in European Union studies. In this context, COEUGREENTRADE aims to create a sustainable platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among academia, public institutions, the private sector, and civil society.
