Message from the Dean

Dear Students,

Our Faculty's Department of Clinical Sciences is a five-year program, excluding the English preparatory class. Our main goal is to train well-equipped dentists in the effective protection of oral and dental health, the treatment of dental and gingival diseases, surgical interventions in the maxillofacial region, and the application of intraoral prostheses.

5-Year Comprehensive Education Program

• First 3 Years (Pre-Clinical Period): In addition to basic medical courses, pre-clinical theoretical and practical dental training is provided.
• Last 2 Years (Clinical Period): Students are prepared for graduation by completing theoretical courses in clinical dentistry and hands-on clinical applications on patients.

Advanced Technology Laboratories and Vadi Campus

In our faculty, you will benefit from clinics and laboratories equipped with the technological tools and equipment required by modern medicine and dentistry. You will receive your basic medical and dental training during the pre-clinical period in the most up-to-date basic medical laboratories and our dental professional skills (Phantom) laboratory located at our Vadi Campus. Here, you will have the opportunity to practice on models, simulations, and robot patients before encountering real patients.

Clinical Experience at Istinye University Dental Hospital

Your clinical education will take place in the highly advanced clinics of the Istinye University Dental Hospital, working on real patients under the guidance of our experienced academic staff.
