Dr. İsmail Ergen received his M.F.A. (USA Proficiency in Arts) from the Academy of Art San Francisco and his Proficiency in Arts (Doctorate) from Arel University's Faculty of Fine Art. He has worked in advertising, art, and business-related industries throughout his career. He also founded a number of award-winning businesses in the United States, including a toy design company that can create next-generation 3D toys out of recyclable materials. He recently returned to Turkey to take a management job at Ambeent Inc, a Silicon Valley firm that develops next-generation AI algorithms for 5G and 6G technologies and was just awarded the coveted Horizon 2020 EIC SME Phase II grant. His thesis, "Digital Design Techniques with Developing Gaming Technologies: User Effects of Robotic Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and 3D Design," reflects his research interests. He's now working on methods for incorporating aggregated digital design into game design, as well as artificial intelligence, experience design, UX research, and user interface design.
