Istinye University Department of Textile and Fashion Design offers its graduates who are aware of the current expectations and future possibilities of the profession, sensitive to human, social and environmental expectations, competent at the highest level in professional and technical matters, and who must have the intellectual ground required to be a university graduate, through a student-oriented learning environment. As a result of the process, it adopts as its basic mission to train people to practice their profession.

The Department of Textile and Fashion Design aims to train the human profile that the Turkish Textile and Fashion Industry needs on an international scale. In this regard, fashion designers who carry out the design process ranging from design idea to market and trend research, creative product analysis, contemporary pattern and sewing techniques and presentation styles; It aims to introduce fashion operators to the industry, who bring these ideas and products together with the appropriate consumers and markets with the right identities and brands, develop marketing and management strategies, and also carry out the finance, distribution, marketing, sales and communication stages of this process.
