Asst. Prof. Dr. Tuğba Karabulut obtained her Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from Çankaya University (2019) with a dissertation, titled Reading Performativity, Gender and the Fragmentation of Narrative Voice in Mina Loy’s Texts and Artworks. Currently serving as the Chair of the English Language and Literature Department at İstinye University, Dr. Karabulut has published numerous articles in international journals, contributed chapters to edited volumes and presented at international conferences. She has previously taught English Literature at the Social Sciences University of Ankara and the Columbus Academy of Rome. Her research interests include Modernism, the avant-garde, twentieth-century British poetry, feminism, Romanticism, ecocriticism and the intersection of literature and the visual arts. She is the author of the book Early Modernist British Poetry and the Avant-garde: From Theory to Practice. She speaks Italian and French.
