Istinye University participated in the 6th edition of the world's largest aviation, space and technology festival, Teknofest, held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, where the latest developments in aviation and space industries were shown and bringing together technology and innovation enthusiasts from all over the world. Teknofest provides a platform for universities, research institutions and businesses to exhibit their innovative R&D activities and products, even to exchange ideas and collaborate.
One of Teknofest's impressive projects was Türkiye's first Virtual Dissection Table, exhibited at the Istinye University Garage Incubation Hub stand with the motto "Today's Ideas, Tomorrow's Future". The Digital Cadaver Unit is planned to be widely used in research and education in the medical field.
Istinye University was represented by Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Hatice Gülen, Prof. Dr. Peyami Çelikcan and Director of Istinye University Technology Transfer Office (ISU Tech) Dr. İsmail Ergen, who received detailed information about Türkiye's first Virtual Dissection Table on the first day of the event at the ISU stand located in the Teknofest R10 area.
Teknofest '23 can be visited from April 27th to May 1st, at Istanbul Atatürk Airport.
