The Master’s Program with Thesis in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Istinye University, launched in the 2023–2024 academic year, is designed as a pioneering graduate program that blends culinary culture with scientific inquiry, innovation, and contemporary gastronomic practices. Delivered in Turkish, the program adopts an interdisciplinary perspective, connecting Türkiye’s rich culinary heritage with global developments in gastronomy, food studies, and hospitality management.

The program prepares students to contribute to national and international gastronomy projects through creative, research-oriented, and sustainability-driven perspectives. In addition to advanced culinary applications, students develop competencies in academic research, strategic thinking, food innovation, and gastronomy management, enabling them to respond to the evolving dynamics of the food and beverage industry.

 

In accordance with the regulations of Istinye University Graduate Education Institute, students who successfully complete the required coursework and defend their original thesis are awarded the master's degree in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts.
