Dear Student,
You can find the information regarding the exams to be held on Tuesday, September 15, below.
Two different exams will take place on September 15. The first exam is the Placement Test, and the second is the Turkish Proficiency Exam. All students who wish to study in a Turkish-medium program and have not submitted a valid Turkish proficiency certificate are required to take the Placement Test. Students who score 25 points or higher on the Placement Test qualify to take the Turkish Proficiency Exam. Students who score 24 points or below on the Placement Test will attend the Turkish Preparatory classes starting on September 21, 2026.

- You must bring your student ID, national ID, or passport to the exam.
- Do not forget to bring a pencil and an eraser with you to the exam.
- The exam will take place in FLED Hall on the Main Campus. Please check your assigned classroom by referencing the document provided during registration.
September 15 Exam Schedule
10:00 - 11:00: Placement Test
12:00: Announcement of Placement Test results on the website
12:20 - 14:00: Turkish Proficiency Exam – Session 1
14:00 - 15:30: Turkish Proficiency Exam – Session 2
Important:
Candidates who do not take the exam on the date provided during registration for any reason must send an email to hakm.alsaadun@istinye.edu.tr to register for that exam session in order to take it at another date. Otherwise, they will not be admitted to the exam. Only candidates whose names appear on the list may attend the organized exams.
