Ebru Nur Ay, who completed her undergraduate education at Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Biology in 2011, completed her master's degree at Yıldız Technical University, Institute of Science, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics in 2012. During her master's degree, she worked on "Production of Drug Precursors Using Biotechnological Methods". Ebru Nur Ay, who started her PhD program at Istanbul University Aziz Sancar Experimental Medicine Research Institute, Department of Molecular Medicine in 2015, completed her studies on Molecular Mechanisms of Cancer in December 2019 and has also been on the academic staff of Istinye University as of the beginning of 2016. Dr. Ay studied at Ruhr-Universitat Bochum/St. in Germany within the scope of the Erasmus+ Exchange Program in 2019. She conducted scientific studies in the field of immunology at the Hospital Zentrum Für Klinische Forscung (ZKF). As of 2021, she has continued her studies on Nanoparticle Cancer Vaccine in the Tumor Immunology department of Radboud University Radboud Institute of Molecular Life Sciences (RIMLS), located in the Netherlands, with the TÜBİTAK 2219 - Overseas Postdoctoral Research Scholarship, and continues to work with the scientific research projects she leads in this field.
