Assistant Professor Hatice Gürel Özdemir

Instructor Hatice GÜREL ÖZDEMİR completed her BA education at Giresun University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Physics in 2011. She completed her Pedagogical Education as a Physics Teacher at Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Education in 2012. She completed her MA at Giresun University, Institute of Science, Department of Atomic and Molecular Physics in 2014. Her MA thesis topic is 'Preparation of Rubrene Thin Films by Spin Coating Method and Investigation of Their Optical Properties'. She has 2 international articles and 2 international notifications related to her MA thesis. She also became a Class C Occupational Safety Specialist in 2014. She completed her PhD education, which she started in 2007, at Giresun University, Institute of Science, Department of Atomic and Molecular Physics in 2024. Her PhD thesis topic is 'Investigation of Shielding Properties of Barite Based Polymer Composites Reinforced with Different Metals at Certain Gamma Energies'. She has 1 international article related to her doctoral thesis. In the 2019-2020 academic year, she taught as an hourly paid lecturer at Istanbul Arel University, Department of Medical Services and Techniques, Opticianry program. She is currently working as a instructor at İstinye University, School of Health Services, Opticianry program.
