The “İGA Visit” organized by the Aviation Club was held off-campus at Istanbul Airport on April 30, 2026. This technical trip, which aimed to directly connect students interested in the aviation industry with the sector itself, proved to be both productive and educational for the participants.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe the operational processes of Istanbul Airport on site. Comprehensive information was provided regarding the airport’s overall functioning, operational management processes, and daily activities. Participants also gained a closer understanding of the dynamic structure of the aviation industry.
Through the technical observations conducted throughout the program, students were shown concrete examples of how much coordination and planning airport operations require. In addition, participants had the opportunity to ask questions about the sector and gain insights into professional processes during the visit.
The event aimed to help students reinforce their theoretical knowledge through real-world observation, gain experiences that would contribute to their career planning, and increase their awareness of the aviation sector.
The Aviation Club continues to support students’ professional development through such technical visits that connect them directly with the industry.
