Aviation Club – SunExpress Airline Visit

The “SunExpress Airline Visit,” organized by the Aviation Club, was held on April 27, 2026, at Antalya Airport, outside the campus. The event was planned to enable students to gain firsthand insight into the aviation industry, reinforce their theoretical knowledge through field experience, and meet with industry professionals.

As part of the visit, participants toured SunExpress’s office and hangar areas, gaining the opportunity to closely observe the functioning of airline operations. Detailed information was provided by officials regarding flight planning processes, operational coordination, maintenance and repair activities, and technical infrastructure. In addition, aircraft maintenance processes were examined on-site, and participants learned about the implementation of safety and quality standards.

During the event, students had the opportunity to interact directly with industry professionals, ask their questions, and gain valuable insights to guide their career planning. This interaction not only increased their awareness of the sector but also contributed to the development of their professional perspectives.
