The Autism Awareness Booth, organized by the HEAL Club in collaboration with the Disability Support Unit, was held on April 2, 2026, at the entrance of the Health Sciences Building on the Topkapı Campus.
The booth, established to raise social awareness and promote understanding of autism, was visited with great interest by students and academic staff.
As part of the event, participants were provided with fundamental information about autism spectrum disorder, along with guidance on social inclusion, empathy, and effective communication. Through the collaboration with the Disability Support Unit, a broader perspective on accessibility and inclusivity was presented. In addition, awareness activities were carried out regarding approaches that support the participation of individuals with autism in social life.
Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to access accurate information about autism and develop greater social awareness.
