EMSA Istinye Club carried out an important social responsibility event between November 3-9 as part of Organ Donation Awareness Week. The club aimed to raise awareness and provide accurate information about organ donation to the public through an information stand set up at Liv/Medical Park Hospital.
The stand, which remained open throughout the week, shared informative materials on the importance of organ donation, how the donation process works, and the life-saving effects of organ donation. Club members interacted directly with hospital visitors and patient relatives, answering questions about organ donation and explaining the medical, ethical, and social aspects of the process.
The event was particularly valuable in terms of promoting organ donation and increasing public awareness. The stand prepared by EMSA Istinye Club attracted great interest throughout the week, and many participants had the opportunity to learn more detailed information about the organ donation system.
With this awareness campaign, the club aimed to both contribute to society and strengthen the social responsibility awareness of students studying in the health field. This event, held as part of Organ Donation Awareness Week, was considered a significant example of EMSA İstinye's community service initiatives.
