The 1st National Sexual Health Symposium, organized in collaboration with HEAL Club, Child Development Club, and Welcome to Life Club, was held on April 13, 2026, at the Congress Center of the Topkapı Campus.
The symposium, which aimed to contribute to public health, raise awareness about sexual health among young adults, and encourage preventive health behaviors, attracted significant interest from students and participants.
Within the scope of the event, current topics such as sexual health in young adults, the importance of the HPV vaccine, methods of protection, and the development of healthy lifestyle awareness were discussed. During the presentations delivered by expert speakers in their fields, participants were provided with scientific and up-to-date information, while the importance of awareness for both individual and public health was emphasized.
The sessions held throughout the symposium were supported by interactive segments where participants were able to ask questions related to the topic; once again highlighting the value of access to accurate information and awareness-raising efforts in the field of health.
The event, which was productive both academically and socially, was successfully completed as an important organization that enhanced our students’ health literacy, increased their level of awareness, and contributed to social benefit.
