IEEE Club - Biomedical Device Development and Entrepreneurship

The “Biomedical Device Development and Entrepreneurship” event, organized by the IEEE Club, was held on April 15, 2026, at AB508 in the Vadi AB Campus. The event was planned to increase students’ knowledge and awareness in the fields of biomedical device technologies and entrepreneurship.

As part of the event, within the scope of the “Biomedical Device Training Series,” X-ray systems were specifically addressed. The working principles of these systems, their areas of use, and their role within healthcare technologies were explained in detail. In addition, evaluations were made regarding biomedical device development processes and entrepreneurial opportunities in this field.

Through expert-led presentations, participants had the opportunity to gain technical knowledge and become familiar with innovative approaches in the healthcare technologies sector. The event was completed as a productive educational program that enhanced students’ professional vision and increased interest in the field of biomedical engineering.
