The “TeknoKent Visit” organized by the IEEE Club was held off-campus in Avcılar, Istanbul, on April 28, 2026. The event was planned to enable students to closely explore technology development zones, observe the innovation ecosystem firsthand, and reinforce their academic knowledge through field experience.
As part of the technical visit, participants were informed about the companies operating within TeknoKent and the projects being carried out there. Students had the opportunity to directly observe research and development processes, entrepreneurial activities, and technology-oriented business models.
Throughout the event, participants interacted with industry representatives, gained insights into topics they were curious about, and acquired valuable experiences that would contribute to their career planning. Offering significant academic value, the technical visit was completed as a productive and educational organization that connected students’ theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.
