İstinye Genç TEMA Club – UNIDES Project: One Sapling, One Future: Environmental Awareness in Village Schools Project

The UNIDES Project: One Sapling, One Future: Environmental Awareness in Village Schools, organized by Istinye University Genç TEMA Club, was carried out on April 13, 2026.

Within the scope of the project supported by UNIDES, students were brought together at a village school in order to develop environmental awareness at an early age and increase awareness of sustainable living. The event, which aimed to strengthen the love of nature, created productive and meaningful moments for both students and participants.

Throughout the event, saplings were planted together with the students, and informative sessions were held on the protection of nature, the importance of afforestation, and environmental responsibility. In addition, various educational and social activities were organized with the active participation of the children, ensuring that environmental awareness was reinforced through fun and practical methods.

Participants had the opportunity not only to contribute to nature but also to experience the importance of acting with a sense of social responsibility. The project was successfully completed as an organization that contributed to raising environmentally conscious generations and strengthened its focus on social benefit.
