The “Handcrafted Precision: Surgical Congress,” organized by the Istinye Medical Students’ Association, was held on March 28–29, 2026, at the Congress Center of the Vadi Main Campus. The event was planned as a comprehensive and multidisciplinary organization aimed at enhancing medical students’ knowledge and skills in the field of surgery.
As part of the two-day congress, a total of 14 scientific sessions covering various specialties were held. Expert speakers addressed current surgical approaches, case experiences, and key topics contributing to professional development.
In addition, through 15 different workshops, participants had the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical applications and take part in interactive training sessions aimed at developing their surgical skills. With its multidisciplinary structure bringing together different specialties, the congress provided participants with a broad perspective.
The event was successfully completed as a productive and inspiring experience that contributed to students’ academic development, supported hands-on learning, and offered valuable insights for those interested in the field of surgery.
